Wandering the streets of Chicago I found this wig shop where you can buy wigs on layaway. Sign me up! Sometimes you just need to have that platinum “Zury” hairdo.
Note: I saw Jon Hopkins open for Four Tet the other night. He was pretty fantastic and bouncy, which is always fun to see when watching an electronic live act (sometimes they just hide behind their nobs and there isn’t much to see). This is definitely not one of the more lively songs but I still like it.
Wow…layaway. When I was a kid it was looked down on ’cause it meant that you didn’t have the money. Now everyone gets to be a hypocrite with a charge card.
Great song choice! It sounds so deliberate and thoughtful. Just like I would imagine someone who has decided to purchase something would shuffle to the back of the store and the layaway counter, wig in hand.
