#69: Carderock
On Saturday I went to Carderock hoping to take photos of the area in snow. Unfortunately by the time I got there the little bit of snow that had fallen earlier in the day had melted, and the snow that was to come was several hours south. Even though there wasn’t much (any) snow, it was a really pleasant walk and there were barely any people there. I did find it rather amusing that walking in one direction I was passing all Europeans and walking back I was passing all Americans. I’m not entirely sure what that means. Read into it what you will.
I took this photo along the Billy Goat Trail. I am not sure what the foamy stuff is, but it made a really mesmerizing pattern that I stared at for a while.
Driving to and from Carderock I had the song “The Bhabar Belt” by The Protist on repeat. They are quite the talented duo, both musically and visually. Enjoy!
