Project #20: Cabbages Part 2

Greetings! As I promised, here is the second creative project for the week (since I neglected to post one last week). This is also part 2 of the Cabbage post from January. I worked on two of the logo sketches for Rusty Cabbages this week and I am having a hard time deciding what to go with. Please leave comments on these and let me know which is your favorite and if you have any ideas on how I could improve them (I am mostly thinking about color at this point). Once I get this settled I am going to create a shop on Etsy to sell what is left in the Pilkasiulas “warehouse” and then hopefully start making new things to sell. Thanks for your comments!

i like 1b or 2c — unless you want your cabbage to actually look rusty. in which case, i’d go with 1c or 2a. did you already try doing 2c with a darker shade of brown instead of black?

1b and 2d. I like the simple ones!

I get the brown for the “rusty”, but don’t think you need to go too literal and simpler is better.

I think 1B works best and looks dynamic while being flexible – 2-color print job. Are you doing a font treatment in the brand as well?

    The illustrations look awesome overall.

    1b and 2c…

And if you are taking special orders, I think each one should have a “cell” within one of the leafs that has a slightly different tone of the color (maybe 2 for 1b)… the light green leaf in the center with one cell a darker tone of the green.
