This past week I have been working hard on updating my portfolio, but it is not quite ready to show. Hopefully next week I will post it. This week I am cheating a bit because my creative project is not so much my creative project as it is my friend Kathy’s creative birthday project for me. When I went to visit her in San Jose last December she and her brother introduced me to the Don Hertzfeldt cartoon “Rejected“ (shown below). I had heard of it before and I feel like I had seen it, but it definitely left an impression on me during this last trip (In other words, we could not stop quoting it). On Saturday I received a package from Kathy with a rolled up piece of paper in the shape of a spoon. Here is a photo of me with my new big paper spoon! I tried to flatten it out but it’s still curling a bit.
