Project #3: Chocolate Fudge Cake
Mmm . . . this week I decided to bake a chocolate fudge cake from my mother’s very worn and very (well) used notebook of recipes. This notebook was so used in fact that the handwriting on the other side of the page has seeped through so I could barely make out what some of the ingredients and directions were. The recipe was for a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting, however I added some peanut butter frosting for the center. Now if only I could post a slice for you to try . . .

it not only looked oh so beautiful but also the chocolateness and texture were sublime. you’re on the road to baking greatness! from one who knows…..
OH yummy and cute! I hope you preserve those recipes while you still can! And don’t worry, we can do something creative while you’re here in Cali so you won’t miss a week. I promise
I just had my last piece this morning for b-fast. It was a super-delicious made from scratch chocolately goodness cake with a mild but complex peanut butter middle and a smooth creamy chocolate finish. Excellent!
lol. did you know that chocolate was banned in switzerland for many years. read this
